Louie Blasiole, Quentin Lehman named First Team Academic All-America by College Sports Communicators for 2025 season

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Louie Blasiole (Mantua/Crestwood) and junior Quentin Lehman (Dalton) were named First Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators for the 2025 season.
Blasiole, a computer engineering major, was named All-District IV and Fourth Team All-America by D3football this season and is a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree after earning First Team honors this season.
Blasiole led the team in rushing this season with 1,399 yards on 281 carries and 20 touchdowns. He led the OAC in rushing touchdowns and rushing yards.
In 30 career games, Blasiole has 2,815 yards on 562 carries and 35 touchdowns. He ranks 8th on the all-time career rushing list at ONU.
Lehman, a mechanical engineering major, was named First Team All-America by the Associated Press, All-District IV and Fourth Team All-America by D3football and won the OAC Ken Wable Award for the most outstanding offensive lineman this season.
He started all 11 games at center in 2025 and in three years at ONU has started all 31 career games at center.
The Polar Bears finished the season 8-3 overall and finished second in the OAC with a 7-1 league mark under second-year head coach Andy Fries. Northern made its fifth postseason appearance in program history in the Opendorse Bowl Series.
