Alison Steinbrunner named OAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ADA--For the third time this season, senior Alison Steinbrunner has been named OAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Steinbrunner previously won the award for the week of September 4 and October 1.

At the Brooks Invitational hosted by UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, she finished in first place navigating the 6,000 meter course in 21:24.50.

Her time was nearly eight seconds faster than the second place finisher.

The event featured 37 teams, eight of which were ranked.

The No. 29 Polar Bears finished ninth in the event with 283 points.

Ohio Northern will be action again on October 27 when they travel to Wilmington for the OAC Championships at 11 am.
