Women's Cross Country team ranked No. 29 in fifth weekly USTFCCCA poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team is ranked No. 29 in the fifth weekly poll in voting conducted by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Polar Bears (43-14) were ranked No. 27 in last week's poll, were No. 25 in the third poll, were No. 19 in the second poll, were No. 20 in the first poll and were No. 16 in the preseason poll.
Northern received 48 points, 12 less than the 60 points it received in the third weekly poll on Sept. 26.
MIT moved up one spot to No. 1, Johns Hopkins (Md.) moved up to No. 2, and Williams (Mass.) dropped two spots to No. 3.
The Polar Bears were idle last weekend and will return to action this Saturday morning at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.
