Women's Cross Country team ranked No. 27 in fourth weekly USTFCCCA poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team is ranked No. 27 in the fourth weekly poll in voting conducted by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Polar Bears (43-14) were ranked No. 25 in last week's poll, were No. 19 in the fourth poll, were No. 20 in the first and second polls and were No. 16 in the preseason poll.
Northern received 60 points, 28 less than the 88 points it received in the third weekly poll on Sept. 26.
Williams (Mass.) moved up six spots to No. 1, MIT remains at No. 2, and Johns Hopkins (Md.) and Middlebury (Vt.) are tied at No. 3.
The Polar Bears are idle this weekend and will return to action Oct. 13 at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.
