Volleyball team to open 2013 schedule Aug. 30-31 with 35th annual ONU Invitational

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team will open its 2013 schedule Aug. 30-31 when it hosts the 35th annual ONU Invitational tournament at the ONU Sports Center.

The Polar Bears will also host Denison and Bluffton in non-conference action and will travel to Saint Louis, Mo., Springfield and Columbus for regular season tournaments.

The OAC round-robin schedule gets underway Sept. 28 at Capital and concludes Nov. 1 at Muskingum with the OAC Tournament slated for Nov. 5-9.

Ohio Northern finished 24-7 and advanced to the NCAA III Tournament in 2012 under 21st-year head coach Kate Witte.
