Women's Tennis falls to NCAA Division I foe Miami (Ohio) in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team fell 7-0 to NCAA Division I foe Miami (Ohio) Wednesday morning.

The Polar Bears dropped all three doubles matches by 8-1 scores and won just two games in the six doubles matches.

"I thought we played well despite the score," ONU head coach Scott Wills said. "I like to play Division I schools because you can get better by playing better competition. I thought we competed well."

Ohio Northern will return to action Friday at Hillsborough Community College (Fla.) at 10:30 am.
