Six named Academic All-OAC in Women's Swimmning

ADA -- Six Ohio Northern women's swimmers were named Academic All-OAC in voting done by the OAC's 10 faculty advisors.
Seniors Amanda Brown, Sarah Fiffick and Mackenzie Hoffman, juniors Lindsey Rayhill and Katherine Lorson and sophomore Ashley Zoeller all earned the honor.
Brown earns her first Academic All-OAC selection.
The athletic training major finished sixth in the 200 breaststroke and seventh in the 100 breaststroke at the OAC Championships.
Fiffick, a mechanical engineering major, earns her second Academic All-OAC accolade.
She was the OAC champion in the 100 free and was part of the 200 free relay team that broke a school record on their way to winning the OAC title.
Hoffman earns her third Academic All-OAC honor.
The psychology major was an OAC Champion in the 500 free and was also part four relay teams that captured OAC Championships.
Rayhill was named Academic All-OAC for the second consecutive season.
She is a pharmacy major and broke the OAC record in the 200 fly and was also part of four record breaking relay teams.
Lorson earns her first Academic All-OAC honor.
Lorson, a pharmacy major, placed fifth in the 1 and 3-meter diving events at the OAC Championships.
Zoeller is majoring in accounting and was named Academic-All OAC for the first time.
She earned All-OAC status in the 500 and 1,650 free at the OAC Championships.
Ohio Northern won its fifth consecutive OAC Championship under ninth year head coach Peggy Ewald.
