Wrestlers ranked No. 23 in third Brute/Adidas NWCA poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern wrestling team is ranked No. 23 in the third Brute-Adidas National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll, released Tuesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears (1-3) were No. 19 in the second poll and were No. 16 in the preseason poll.
Northern finished the 2010-11 season ranked No. 11 and was 12th at the NCAA III Championships.
Individually, junior two-time All-American Kyle Kwiat is ranked sixth nationally at 185 pounds.
Wartburg (Iowa) is ranked first, Wisconsin-LaCrosse is second, Coe (Iowa) is third and Ithaca (N.Y.) is fourth for the third consecutive week.
Ohio Northern will return to action Tuesday night against Mount Saint Joseph at 7 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
