Blewett, Mangola, Miller named to NCAA Softball Adrian Regional All-Tournament Team

ADA — Ohio Northern juniors Kimi Blewett (Carmel, Ind.) and Jackie Mangola (Cranberry Township. Pa./Seneca Valley) and freshman Christin Miller (Mason) were named to the NCAA Division III Adrian Regional All-Tournament team.

The three collected 17 of the squad's 24 base hits and drove in 12 of its 14 runs as the Polar Bears posted a 1-2 record at the tournament.

Blewett hit .545 (6 for 11) with two doubles, three home runs, 9 RBI and slugged 1.545 for the tournament.

Mangola led all players with a .714 batting average (5 for 7) and an .818 on base percentage (9 for 11), cracked two home runs and had 3 RBI.

Miller hit .667 (6 for 9) with a double and scored a pair of runs from her leadoff position.

Northern made its third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

The Polar Bears finished the season with a 27-14 record and won a share of the OAC Regular Season title with a 14-4 record under first-year head coach Kim Burke.
