Berton named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ADA--For the second time this season, junior Mark Berton has been named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

On Saturday, Berton finished 17th in the 208 person field at the Williams (Mass.) Purple Valley Classic.

He finished the 8,000-meter course in 25:56.

The Polar Bears finished sixth of 15 teams.

The field featured four of the top 35 teams in the nation, plus a Dvision I school.

Ohio Northern will be in action again on Saturday when they run in the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville at 2:45.
