Mark Berton named OAC Men's Runner of the Week

ADA -- Junior Mark Berton has been named OAC Men's Outdoor Runner of the Week.

At the Washington & Lee (Va.) Carnival on Saturday, Berton won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:23.44, beating the second place runner by .24 seconds.

His steeplechase time is currently the fastest in the country.

Ohio Northern will compete next at OAC Split Meet at Muskingum on Friday.
