Freshman Aiden Yeager named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Aiden Yeager (Springfield/Northwestern) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Apr. 13-19.

This is his second time receving the honor this season.

Yeager went 2-0 to led the Polar Bears in a 7-0 sweep of Otterbein on Saturday to pick up Northern's second OAC victory of the season.

He won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Yeager is second on the team with 15 singles wins and 28 overall victories.

The Polar Bears (10-8 Overall, 2-0 OAC) will return to action on Wednesday against Baldwin Wallace at 3:30 p.m.
