MASON - The Ohio Northern men's tennis season came to an end Saturday with a 5-3 loss to Baldwin-Wallce in the finals of the OAC Men's Tennis Tournament, held at the Lindner Family Tennis Courts.

The second-seeded Polar Bears close the season 12-5 overall, while the No. 1 seed Yellow Jackets remain undefeated at 27-0 and will represent the OAC in the NCAA tournament as the league's automatic bid.

Ohio Northern tallied the first win at No. 2 doubles, 8-5, courtesy of seniors Andrew Korba and Michael Kathary.

B-W's Kyle Patterson and Taylor Long then won No. 3 doubles 8-6 over Josh Saunders and Sam Prewitt.

No. 1 doubles came down to a tiebreaker, which B-W's Alex Trzeciak and Alex Bourdiax won 7-2 for the 9-8 set win.

Junior Joey Frank would post a win at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-3 for ONU, as would junior Mike King at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-3. But the Yellow Jackets would take No. 2, 3 and 4 singles for the win.
