Bascom Named OAC Player of the Week for Men’s Soccer

ADA — Junior Nate Bascom has been named the OAC Player of the Week for men's soccer for the week of Oct. 10-16 .

Last week, Bascom scored four goals and tallied one assist in wins over Otterbein and No. 10 Baldwin-Wallace.

Bascom scored in the 18th and 63rd minutes to lead the Polar Bears to a 4-0 victory over the Cardinals. He also added an assist in third minute.

In the match against the Yellow Jackets, he put in a penalty kick to tie the game at 1-1 and beat the goalie in the 74th minute for the game winner.

Bascom leads the team in points (26), goals (10) and assists (6) and is in the Top 5 in each of those categories in the OAC.

Ohio Northern will be in action again on Wednesday when they host Wilmington at 4 p.m.
