Brett Kuhn leads Men’s Swimming and Diving at Hillsdale (Mich.)

WOOSTER —  Ohio Northern men’s swimming and diving traveled to Hillsdale (Mich.) and were downed by Olivet (Mich.) 130-109 Saturday afternoon at the John McAvoy Natatorium.

The Polar Bears dropped to 3-2 overall this season, while the Comets improved to 2-2 overall.

WOOSTER —  Ohio Northern men’s swimming and diving team defeated Wooster 166-128 Saturday at the Timken Natatorium.

The Polar Bears improve to 3-1 overall on the season, while The Fighting Scots fall to 1-2.

Michael Schultz led Northern by two events and finishing second in another.  Schultz won the 500 freestyle in 5:05.62 and the 400 individual medley in 4:32.27.  He finished second in the 200 freestyle in 1:47.06.

Chesney gets NCAA mark as Men's Swimming tops Wilmington

ADA — George Chesney bettered the NCAA Qualifying mark in the 3-meter diving, leading the Ohio Northern men’s swimming and diving team to a 186-48 win over Wilmington in the 2008-09 home opener at the Ohio Northern Sport Center.

The Polar Bears improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in Ohio Athletic Conference action. The Quakers fall to 0-3 overall and 0-3 in the OAC.
