Volleyball to open its 2026 season Sept. 1 at home against (Mich.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team will open its 2026 season Sept. 1 at home against Kalamazoo (Mich.) under fourth-year head coach Sophie Windover.

Northern will then play at the Aurora (Ill.) Invitational Sept. 4-5 before playing at Albion (Mich.) on Sept. 8.

The 47th-Annual ONU Invitational will be Sept. 11-12 at the ONU Sports Center.

ONU will play at the Millikin (Ill.) Invitational Sept. 18-19 before traveling to Hope (Mich.) for two matches Sept. 26.

The Polar Bears open their 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference slate Sept. 30 at home against Otterbein.

Ohio Northern will also host OAC foes Wilmington, Capital and Mount Union.

Conference road opponents include Marietta, Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum at Heidelberg.

Northern will also play a tri-match at Bluffton with Franklin (Ind.) on Oct. 17.

ONU will close out the regular season on Nov. 4 at home with Ohio Wesleyan and Nov. 86 at home against Kenyon.

The OAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 10-14.

The Polar Bears posted a 12-18 record, including a 4-4 mark in the OAC, in 2025.
