Bio
Sophie Windover is in her third season at Ohio Northern.
She led the Polar Bears to a 20-9 overall record and a 5-4 OAC record last season.
Windover came to ONU in 2023 after two seasons as the head volleyball coach at fellow Ohio Athletic Conference member Wilmington.
In 2022, Windover led the Quakers to one of their best seasons in the last decade.
During her time at Wilmington, Windover coached 12 Academic All-OAC student-athletes and the program’s first All-OAC honoree. In 2021, the Quakers earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award.
Prior to coaching at Wilmington, Windover served as the assistant volleyball coach at Heidelberg from 2019 to 2021.
Windover is a 2015 graduate of Emmanuel College (Ga.) and holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications.
