Sophomore Kara Fox named OAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Kara Fox (South Euclid/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of March 9-15.
This is Fox's second time earning the honor in her career.
The recognition comes after having nine saves in a 17-6 victory over Southwestern (Tex.) on Thursday and posting seven saves in a 9-8 win over Suffolk (Mass.) on Saturday.
Fox has a 5-3 record on the season and leads the OAC with 67 saves and is second in the OAC with 7.44 saves per game.
In two years at ONU, Fox has a 12-9 record with 172 saves.
The Polar Bears (5-4 Overall) return to action on Wednesday at Trine (Ind.) at 6 p.m.
