ADA — Freshman Madeline Storr had three goals to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team in an 18-5 loss to undefeated Kenyon on Tuesday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bears fall to 1-4 in their inaugural season, while the Ladies improve to 4-0.
Storr put the Polar Bears ahead 1-0 with a goal just 1:37 into the match.
Sophomore Aliya Hutman-Zahler found the net with 13:05 left in the first half to pull ONU within 5-2.
Kenyon led 9-2 at intermission.
The KC lead grew to 15-2 before Storr scored her second goal of the day with 17:27 remaining in the game.
Hutman-Zahler added her second goal of the game with 7:52 left to play and Storr got ONU's fifth goal with 2:50 remaining.
Sophomore Shannen Larsen Van Alstine had 10 saves in goal for Ohio Northern.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday with a 1 pm home contest against Saint Mary's (Ind.) at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
