Men's Track & Field wraps up regular season at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet

ALLIANCE — The Ohio Northern Men's Track and Field team concluded its regular season slate at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet Wednesday afternoon at Mount Union Stadium.
Thirteen men competed to improve their season bests and qualify for the NCAA III Championships in Greensboro, N.C. May 27-29.
Junior Nate Dean (Euclid/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph) won the 200 in 21.63 seconds.
Sophomore Hunter Kesler (Oakwood/Paulding) won the 400 in 50.72 seconds.
Senior Colin McCullough (Galion) was runner-up in the 400 hurdles in 55.35 seconds.
Junior Jack Lehr (York, Pa./Dallastown) placed third in the Discus with a best throw of 44.92 meters.
Senior Alex Sube (Wadsworth/Highland) finished fourth in the hammer throw with a best of 52.02 meters.
Juniors Luke Shellhaas (Greenville/Versailles) and Andrew Buderer (Oak Harbor) and sophomore Brandt Marshall (Bluffton/Cory-Rawson) finished in a tie for fourth and fifth place, respectively. Shelhaas and Buderer recorded a vault of 4.42 meters and Marshall vaulted 3.97 meters.
Senior Jackson Brandstaetter (Pickerington/North) won the 5,000-meter run unopposed in 17:21.10.
The NCAA III Championships field will be announced Tuesday.
