Men's Outdoor Track and Field finishes fourth of 10 at OAC Elite Meet

WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's outdoor track and field team finished fourth of 10 teams at the OAC Elite Meet on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The Polar Bears (23-7 overall) finished with 101 points.
Juniors Andrew Buderer (Oak Harbor) and Luke Shellhaas (Greenville/Versailles) finished second and fourth in the pole vault clearing clearing 4.66 meters and 4.56 meters, respectively.
Junior Patrick Baker (Massillon/Jackson) was second in the 10,000 in 31:49.43.
Freshman Trey Myers (Dayton/Chaminade-Julienne) was second in the 800 in 1:55.33.
Sophomore Vini Souza (Spencerville) was third in the 100 in :11.09 and was fourth in the 200 in :22.61.
Senior and Travis Sutter (Sharpsburg/Fort Recovery) was third in the 3000 steeplechase in 9:41.43.
Senior Sam Krabacher (Hamilton/Badin) was fourth in the 1500 in 3:55.63.
Freshman Keegan Digby (Bowling Green/Otsego) was fourth in the shot put with a toss of 13.70 meters.
Northern's 4x800 relay team won in 8:21.47 and its 4x200 relay team was second in :42.54.
Mount Union won the meet with 226 points, John Carroll was second with 122 points and Otterbein was third with 107 points.
The Polar Bears will return to action next Saturday when they host the Mike Becraft Invitational at Kerscher Stadium.
