- Aslyn Farinelli (Crown Point, Ind.) pitched a clean 7.0 innings of work where he only allowed 2 runs on his way to picking up the win for the Polar Bears
- Freshman Tyler Rinehart (Boonville, Ind./Boonville) blasted a 2-run shot to push the lead back to 6-2 in the top of the ninth to seal the game.
- Senior Chase Armstrong (Lousiville, Ky./Trinity) gave Ohio Northern the early lead with a sacrifice fly
- Senior Robbie Reed (Goshen, Ky./Trinity) and freshman Carson Stevens (Wyoming) hit RBI singles in the sixth to grow the lead to 3-0.

- Sophomore Drew Tolfree (East Lansing, Mich./Lansing Catholic) picked up his second straight OAC win with 7.1 innings of shutout pitching in which he only allowed 2 hits.
- Northern rode 3-run third and seventh innings in the second game.
- Rinehart hit his second home run of the day in the fourth inning to put ONU up 4-0.
- Sophomore Ace Cocklin (Cincinnati/Walnut Hills) got things going for Ohio Northern in the third with an RBI double that scored Stevens.
- Stevens wrapped the inning up with an RBI single.
- Conklin and Reed each picked up another RBI on the day in the sixth as Rinehart scored for the 4th time.
- Armstrong recorded an RBI single in the seventh and later scored on a throwing error. Rinehart recorded his 4th and final RBI on the day in the seventh as well.
- ONU outhit MU 20-9 on the day.
