Women's Cross Country finishes 8th of 37 at the Great Lakes Division III Regional Championships

LOUISVILLE (Ky.) — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team placed 8th out of 37 Division III teams at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday morning.

- Senior Natalie Armbruster (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) led ONU across the finish line, placing 37th overall of 260 runners in 23.08.
- Junior AnnaSophia Gower (Perrysburg) was 51st in 23.23.
- Senior Samantha Roth (Brunswick) was 52nd in 23.23.
- Freshman Allison Woodruff (Arlington/Riverdale) was 66th in 23.39.
- Senior Dani Widmark (Zanesfield/Ben Logan) was 75th in 23.49.

- The top 35 runners earn All-Region honors.
- The Regional team champion from each of the 10 regions across the country earn automatic bids to the NCAA III Championships with the remaining 22 spots being granted to at-large teams.
- The top seven finishers in each region that are not on teams that qualify for the Championships advance to the NCAA Championships as individuals.
- Ohio Northern was ranked No. 7 in the Great Lakes Region.
