Women's Cross Country wins 7th OAC title; Six ONU runners earn All-Conference honors

WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team won the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships title and had six runners earn All-Conference honors on Saturday afternoon.
The Basics

- Race Info: The event was a 6,000-meter race held at the Lehman Cross Country Course at Otterbein.
Race Results
- Ohio Northern finished 1st out of 9 teams with 31 points, winning the OAC Championships title for the seventh time in school history.
- Otterbien placed second with 45 points, Mount Union placed third with 56 points, Baldwin Wallace placed fourth with 120 points and Heidelberg placed fifth with 152 points.

- The top six Ohio Northern runners all earned All-Conference honors with their top-20 finishes.
- Senior Natalie Armbruster (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) led ONU across the finish line, placing 2nd overall of 105 runners in 22.26.
- Junior AnnaSophia Gower (Perrysburg) was 5th in 22.40.1.
- Senior Samantha Roth (Brunswick) was 6th in 22.40.6.
- Freshman Allison Woodruff (Arlington/Riverdale) was 7th in 22.57.
- Freshman Laura Tanner (Wayne/Elmwood) was 11th in 23.14.
- Senior Dani Widmark (Zanesfield/Ben Logan) was 14th in 23:20.

- Armbruster had a huge career best of 22.26, shaving 22 seconds off of her previous best of 22.48.
- Armburster placed second earning All OAC honors.
- Woodruff beat her previous best by 15 seconds.
- Tanner ran a new personal best beating her previous time by 0.7 seconds.
- Ohio Northern finished with 4 top 10 runners making them 1st Team All OAC Honorees.

- This was ONU's sixth consecutive upper division OAC finish.
