Volleyball to open 2023 season Sept. 1 at Cedar Point Invitational

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team will open its 2023 season at the Cedar Point Invitational on Sept. 1-2 at the Cedar Point Sports Center.

Northern will then play at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational Sept. 8-9 before opening its home schedule Sept. 13 against area-rival Bluffton.

The 44tth-Annual ONU Invitational will be Sept. 15-16 at the ONU Sports Center.

Ohio Northern will then face Transylvania (Ky.) and Mount Saint Joseph Sept. 22 at the Otterbein Quad and will travel to Ohio Wesleyan on Sept. 27.

The Polar Bears open their 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference slate at home against Mount Union on Sept. 30.

Other conference home opponents include Otterbein, John Carroll, Muskingum and Baldwin Wallace.

The Polar Bears will travel to OAC foes Capital, Heidelberg, Wilmington and Marietta.

ONU will close out the regular season on Nov. 4 against Denison and Wittenberg as part of hosting the NCAC/OAC Crossover.

The OAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 7-11.

The Polar Bears posted a 16-10 record, including a 6-3 mark in the OAC, in 2022.
