Junior Hannah Irmer named OAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Junior Hannah Irmer (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5.

She had 70 digs, five aces and eight assists in four victories last week.

Irmer had 42 digs in a pair of 3-set victories over Heidelberg on Tuesday and added 29 digs in two wins over Capital on Friday.

This marks the second time this season that Irmer has won the award.

The No. 24-ranked Polar Bears will return to action Tuesday with a 6 pm double header at No. 12 Otterbein.
