Eight named All-Great Lakes Region in Women's Indoor Track and Field for 2025-26

ADA — Eight student-athletes were named All-Great Lakes Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2025-26 season.
Junior Anna Brady (Sidney) earned All-Region honors in both the shot put and weight throw.
Brady is ranked third in the shot put with a throw of 13.25 meters and 8th in the weight throw with a toss of 16.08 meters.
Seniors Claire Schweller (Paulding) and Ellie Ford (Upper Arlington) and freshman Danika Denman (Fremont/Ross) were each named All-Region in the pole vault.
Schweller is ranked first in the region with a vault of 3.97 meters, while Ford is third at 3.73 meters and Denman is tied for 6th at 3.57 meters.
Sophomores Avery Baker-Schlendering (Freeport, Maine) and Emersyn Gerken (Liberty Center) both earned All-Region honors in the high jump.
Baker-Schlendering is first in the region with a jump of 1.79 meters and Gerken is tied for fifth with a jump of 1.63 meters.
Senior Samantha Roth (Brunswick) is ranked 4th in the region in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:37.80.
Junior Katelyn Wagner (Sycamore/Wynford) is ranked second in the shot put with a toss of 13.32 meters.
Schweller and Baker-Schlendering both qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham SportsPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
