Stella DeWitt, Kayla Silva named All-Great Lakes Region in Women's Indoor Track and Field

ADA — Senior Stella DeWitt (Weston/Cardinal Stritch) and junior Kayla Silva (Westerville/South) were named All-Great Lakes Region in Women's Indoor Track & Field for 2021 by the USTFCCCA.

To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top-5 individuals in their respective region on the final TFRRS Descending Order List. In addition, each member of a region's top-3 relay team was also selected for distinction.

Silva was named All-Region in both the 60 and 200-meter dash events after earning All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in each.

She is the school record holder in the 60 and is now a two-time All-Region honoree in the event.

DeWitt was named All-Region in the 60-meter hurdles.

She was also named All-region in the long jump as a freshman in 2018.

The Polar Bears finished third at the 2021 OAC Indoor Championships.
