DELAWARE -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team improved to 10-3 on the season with a 6-3 non-conference victory at Ohio Wesleyan Wednesday afternoon at the Luttinger Tennis Center.
The Battling Bishops fall to 4-8.
Juniors Christina Corbean and Meghan Letizia each posted 2-0 records to lead the Polar Bears.
Corbean won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and combined with sophomore Brittany Toney to win 9-7 at No. 1 doubles.
Letizia posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles and joined with senior Michelle Tuma to win 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
Freshman Lynn Kelly won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and junior Tayrn Stromback won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
The Polar Bears will return to action April 8 at Ohio Athletic Conference for Otterbein.
