AKRON — Freshman Catherine Greenlee (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll) won the 50 free crown to lead the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team on the second day of the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships meet on Thursday.
The Basics
- Records Ohio Northern (3-5 overall, 2-2 OAC).
- Ohio Northern is third of five teams with 183 points.
- Mount Union leads the team standings with 304 points, Baldwin Wallace is second with 196 points, Wilmington is fourth with 123 points and Heidelberg is fifth with 123 points.

ONU Individual Highlights
- Greenlee won the 50 free in a career-best :24.12.
- Sophomore Abby Leatherman (Findlay/Van Buren) placed third in the 200 IM in 2:17.35 earning All-OAC honors.
- Greenlee also combined with sophomore Kate Kalmanowicz (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock), Leatherman and freshman Chloe Schopperth (Centerville) to finish third in the 400 medley relay in 4:14.00.

- The meet consists of 20 events over four days, including 13 individual races, two diving events and five relays.
- Greenlee is the seventh ONU woman and the first since 2021 to win the 50 free crown.
- She now ranks third all-time in ONU history in the event.
