Senior Amy Elmer named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Diver of the Week

ADA — Senior Amy Elmer has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Diver of the Week for the week of Jan. 7-13.

On Friday, Elmer won two events to lead the Ohio Northern women's swimming & diving team to a 125-112 victory over Oberlin at the ONU Sports Center.

Elmer swept the 1- and 3-meter diving events with scores of 195.70 and 240.45, respectively.

On Saturday, Elmer won the 1-meter diving with a career-best 418 points in the 11-dive format. Her point total also qualifies her for the NCAA III Regionals in the event.

The Polar Bears will return to action Friday with a dual at Kenyon and will wrap up the home portion of their schedule next Saturday with a 1 pm battle with Baldwin Wallace on Senior Day at the ONU Sports Center.

ONU can win its seventh consecutive OAC regular season title with a win over BW.
