Women's Soccer receives votes in fourth United Soccer Coaches poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team received votes in the fourth United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Top 25 Poll of the 2022 season, which was released on Tuesday.
Northern is listed seventh among teams in the "Also receiving votes" category, putting the Polar Bears at No. 32 in the poll.
Christopher Newport (Va.) is the top-ranked team in the poll.
Messiah (Pa.), Misericordia (Pa.), Johns Hopkins (Md.) and William Smith (N.Y.) round out the top five.
Additionally, ONU is ranked No. 3 in the fourth United Soccer Coaches Region VII poll of the season, trailing Case Western Reserve and Carnegie Mellon (Pa.), which are ranked Nos. 7 and 13, respectively, in the national poll.
Northern faced Case Western Reserve earlier this season, falling 2-1.
ONU also received two voting points in this week's D3soccer.com Top 25 poll.
The Polar Bears (6-1-2 overall) are currently riding a three-game win streak and return to play on Wednesday hosting Otterbein at 7 p.m.
