Women's Soccer ranked No. 18 in first weekly NSCAA poll
ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team is ranked No. 18 in the first weekly 2012 Continental Tire/NSCAA Women's Division III poll Tuesday in voting conducted by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
The Polar Bears were ranked No. 12 in the 2012 preseason poll and were No. 13 in the final 2011 NSCAA poll.
William Smith (N.Y.) is ranked No. 1, Emory (Ga.) is second and Johns Hopkins (Md.) is third.
Northern played to a pair of 1-1 draws against Grove City (Pa.) and then-No. 17-ranked Case Western Reserve last weekend.
The Polar Bears will play at the Wooster Invitational this weekend, facing Earlham (Ind.) on Saturday and Wooster in Sunday.
