Jayden Jones named OAC Wrestler of the Week

ADA — Junior Jayden Jones (Ashland) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Jan. 15-21.

This recognition comes after leading ONU with a 4-0 with four pins at 157 pounds this week.

On Tuesday against Muskingum, Jones won by fall in 2:06 of the first period at 157 pounds.

Jones then went 3-0 with pins against Otterbein, Heidelberg and Wilmington at the OAC Duals at Heidelberg on Saturday.

He is 15-10 this season and is 52-31 in his career overall.

This is the first time Jones has received this honor.
