Wrestling picked to finish second in 2023-24 OAC Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern wrestling team was picked to finish second in the 2023-24 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Poll in voting conducted by the league's eight head coaches.
The Polar Bears, under 36th-year head coach Ron Beaschler, received 43 points and one first-place vote in the poll.
Three-time defending conference champion Baldwin Wallace was picked to win the league with 49 points and seven first-place votes.
John Carroll was picked third with 35 points, and Mount Union was picked fourth with 33 points.
ONU returns 18 lettermen from last year's squad that went 20-3 overall and was second in the OAC with a 6-1 dual meet mark.
Ohio Northern will open its 2023-24 season Nov. 4 at the Mount Union Invitational.
