Wrestling to open 2023-24 season Nov. 4 at Mount Union Invitational

ADA — The Ohio Northern wrestling team will open its 2023-24 schedule on Nov. 4 at the Mount Union Invitational under 36th-year head coach Ron Beaschler.
This marks the sixth consecutive non-COVID season that ONU has traveled to Mount Union for its season opener.
The Polar Bears will begin the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of their schedule on Nov. 11 at home against John Carroll before traveling to the Olivet (Mich.) Duals on Nov. 18 and competing at Baldwin Wallace on Nov. 28.
The 42nd ONU Invitational is scheduled for Dec. 2 in the ONU Sports Center Fieldhouse, and the Polar Bears close out the 2023 portion of their schedule on Dec. 17 at the West Liberty (W.Va.) Hilltopper Duals.
Northern opens 2024 hosting Mount Saint Joseph on Jan. 3 before competing in the UAA v. OAC Challenge in Cleveland on Jan. 6 and the Bud Whitehill Duals in Williamsport, Pa., on Jan. 12-13.
The Manchester (Ind.) Spartan Mat Classic is scheduled for Jan. 13.
Northern will continue OAC competition hosting Muskingum on Jan. 16 and will compete in the OAC Quad at Heidelberg on Jan. 20.
The Wheaton (Ill.) Pete Willson Invitational is scheduled for Jan. 26-27, and the Baldwin Wallace John Summa Invitational is set for Feb. 3.
The Polar Bears will close out the regular season at Mount Union on Feb. 6, hosting Adrian (Mich.) on Feb. 15, and competing in the Mid-States Invitational in Angola, Ind., on Feb. 17.
The NCAA Division III Central Regionals are scheduled for March 1-2, and the NCAA Division III Championships are set for March 15-16 in Lacrosse, Wis.
