Cody Lovejoy named OAC Wrestler of the Week

ADA — Junior Cody Lovejoy has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Dec. 2-8.

This marks the second time this season Lovejoy has earned this honor.

On Tuesday, Lovejoy notched a pin in 4:06 at 285 pounds to lead the Ohio Northern wrestling team to a 38-12 victory over Mount Saint Joseph.

At the 33rd annual ONU Invitational on Saturday, Lovejoy finished third at heavyweight with a 5-1 record with two pins and is now a team-best 9-1 on the season.

The Polar Bears will return to action next Saturday and Sunday at the Midwest Classic at Indianapolis, Ind.
