Women's Lacrosse scores game's final 10 goals in 14-2 win at Olivet (Mich.)

OLIVET, Mich. — Ohio Northern scored 10 straight goals to blow open a tight game and defeat host Olivet (Mich.) 14-2 on Tuesday afternoon at Cutler Field.
The Polar Bears win their third consecutive game and improve to 4-4 on the season, while the Comets fall to 0-3.
Freshman Maddie Storr scored five goals and had one assist and freshman Maggie Fuller had four goals and dished out two assists to lead Ohio Northern.
Freshman Alexandra Miller also had three goals and an assist for ONU.
Fuller and Storr each tallied goals in the first 5:05 to stake Ohio Northern to a quick 2-0 lead.
After a Comet goal, the duo again found the net and Northern led 4-1 with 10:35 left in the first half.
Another OC goal made it 4-2, but the Polar Bears took control with four goals in the final 4:58 of the period, including a marker by Miller with just three seconds left to give ONU an 8-2 lead at intermission.
It was all Polar Bears in the second half as the hosts out-scored OC 6-0 in the final 30 minutes of play.
Ohio Northern out-shot Olivet 39-8 and won the turnover battle by a 31-18 margin.
Freshman Erin Froehlich had three saves in goal for ONU.
The Polar Bears will return to action Friday night when they host NCAA Division II foe Ursuline at 6:30 pm at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
