Four members of the Women's Lacrosse team named captain for the inaugural season

ADA — Four members of the Ohio Northern women's lacroose team were named captain for the inaugural season.

The players were selected by their teammates and coaches based on their leadership on and off the field.

Sophomore Chelsea Cousins, senior Morgan Weithman, freshman Maggie Fuller, and senior Alexandra Herman all recieved the honor.

Cousins, Weithman, and Fuller will look to lead the offense, while Herman will focus mainly on the defensive side of the field.

"Even though we are a new and young program these four have stepped up and proven to their teammates as well as the coaching staff to be strong leaders through out the off-season," said head coach Beth Hemminger. "We expect them to continue to guide this team both on and off the field."
