Five Polar Bears named All-American Scholars by Women's Golf Coaches Association for 2025-26 season

ADA — Senior Shelby Marstellar (Lima/Bath) and freshmen Myra Batra (New Delhi, India/Shiv Nadar School), Hannah Huggins (Granville), Lainey Schleich (Bellbrook), and Addison Williams (Bristolville/Bristol) have been named All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 season by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
The criteria for WGCA All-American Scholar honors are a 3.50 GPA, being an amateur, and having played in 50 percent or more of the team's events during the season.
A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers across the country were honored on Monday.
Marstellar, an exercise physiology major, is a first-time All-American Scholar honoree.
In two years at ONU, she's played 20 rounds and posted a personal-best 99 in her last career match at the Polar Beaver Classic.
Batra, a sport management and marketing double-major, played 17 rounds and averaged 89.9.
Huggins, a pharmacy major, played 10 rounds this year and posted an average of 92.4.
Schleich, a mechanical engineering major, played 9 rounds in 2025-26 and had an average of 90.3.
Williams, a strength and conditioning major, played 19 rounds and averaged 83.8.
She had the second-best 18-hole average on the team this season and was named First Team All-OAC.
The Polar Bears won the OAC Championships title and advanced to the NCAA III Championships in 2025-26 under 13th-year head coach Chad Bucci.
