The latest recognition comes after she won Medalist honors by three strokes with a 74-73—147 at the Capital Fall Classic at Westchester Golf Course in Canal Winchester.
All five Polar Bear golfers placed inside the top 10 in the 14-woman field as ONU won the team title with a 316-311—627, finishing 22 strokes better than second-place Wheeling (W.Va.).
Honigford has won Medalist honors in all three tournaments she has competed in this fall, giving her 18 Medalist finishes in her career.
She has led the Polar Bears to a 17-0 record this season with first-place finishes in all three tournaments.
A College Sports Communicators Second Team Academic All-American last season, Honigford is averaging 73.2 strokes over five rounds of play this fall.
The Polar Bears return to action on Saturday and Sunday for the two-round Bluffton Beaver Fall Classic at Bluffton Golf Course.
