ADA — Five players scored in double figures as the Ohio Northern women's basketball team earned a thrilling 77-73 victory over Marietta on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.
- Records: Ohio Northern (9-16 Overall, 8-8 OAC), Marietta (12-13 Overall, 7-9 OAC).

The Game
- Junior Lexee Brewer (Sidney) led the Polar Bears with 16 points.
- Freshman Taylor Wagner (Versailles) was right behind with 15 points.
- Sophomores Emerson Gray (Liberty Center) and Charlotte Pauling (Beavercreek) each had 14 points.
- Gray also had a team-high seven rebounds and four steals.
- Sophomore Logan Phillips (Troy/Miami East) had a career-high 11 points, including three 3-pointers, and a team-best and career-high six assists.
- Marietta was led by Kelsey Harlan with 16 points.
- Ohio Northern went on a 12-0 run, capped by a three-point play by Brewer, to take their first lead of the game at 73-70 with 1:57 to go in the fourth quarter.
- Marietta tied the game up at 73, but a putback from Gray with five seconds left gave ONU the lead back at 75-73.
- Two free throws from Pauling after a Pioneer turnover sealed the victory for the Polar Bears.
- Marietta got out to a quick 8-2 lead in the first quarter.
- Northern went on a 6-0 run to cut the Pioneer lead to 12-10.
- Marietta led 21-15 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Pioneers took their largest lead of the day at 35-20 with 5:50 left in the half.
- The Polar Bears answered with a 15-2 run to cut the lead to 37-35 with 1:06 left in the half.
- Marietta led 60-52 at the end of the third quarter.
- Ohio Northern made 32-of-62 field goals for 51.6 percent and was 4-of-14 from beyond the arc for 28.6 percent, while Marietta was 31-of-68 from the floor for 45.6 percent and finished 8-of-18 on 3-pointers for 44.4 percent.
- The Polar Bears made 9-of-13 free throws for 69.2 percent and the Pioneers were 3-of-5 from the line for 60.0 percent.
