Emerson Gray scores 16 as Women's Basketball falls at Otterbein

WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team fell 65-43 at Otterbein on Wednesday evening.
- Records: Ohio Northern (8-16 Overall, 7-8 OAC), Otterbein (19-5 Overall, 13-2 OAC).

- Sophomore Emerson Gray (Liberty Center) led the Polar Bears with 16 points.
- Junior Lexee Brewer (Sidney) led the team with three steals and a career-high 13 rebounds and added four points.
- Junior Courtney Sumner (Ada) had a team-high two assists and had four points.
- Sophomore Charlotte Pauling (Beavercreek) added six points after going a perfect 6-for-6 on free throws.
- Otterbein was led by Mattie Walburn with 18 points.
- The Cardinals started the game on an 8-0 run.
- Gray hit two threes in the last 2:00 of the first quarter to make the score 13-8.
- ONU went on a 9-0 run to cut Otterbein's lead to 21-19.
- The Cardinals answered with an 8-0 run to end the quarter, leading 29-19 at halftime.
- Gray scored 13 of Northern's 19 points in the first half.
- Otterbein started the second half on a 9-0 run to go up 38-19.
