Mueller scores a career-high 10 points to lead Women's Basketball in a 55-46 loss to No. 10-ranked Baldwin Wallace

ADA — Junior Liv Mueller (Defiance/Tinora) scored a career-high 10 points, to lead the Ohio Northern women's basketball team in a 55-46 loss to No. 10-ranked Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday evening.

The Game
- Junior Lexee Brewer (Sidney) added nine points and a team-high three steals.
- Junior Gabi Croft (Spencerville) led the Polar Bears with five rebounds and two assists.
- Freshman Priscilla Adjei (Westerville/Central) also had a team-best five rebounds.
- Sophomore Emerson Gray (Liberty Center) added seven points and two steals.
- Baldwin Wallace was led by Laura McCoy with 17 points.
- The Yellow Jackets got out to a quick 7-0 start, but a 3-pointer from Brewer got ONU on the board.
- BW led 15-10 after the first quarter.
- A three from Mueller gave ONU their first lead of the night, going up 24-23 with 1:36 left in the half.
- There were three lead changes and one tie in the final 1:30 of the half, but the Yellow Jackets led 27-26 at halftime.
- ONU remained within four points of BW for the first seven minutes of the second half, until the Yellow Jackets went on an 8-0, leading 42-32 with 49 seconds left in the third quarter.
- A free throw from Croft made the score 42-33 at the end of the third.
- Baldwin Wallace started the fourth quarter on a 7-0 run to take their biggest lead of the game, going up 49-33 with 5:44 left in the game.
- Mueller made another 3-pointer to break BW's scoring run and start a 6-0 run for ONU.
- Ohio Northern made 15-of-51 field goals for 29.4 percent and was 4-of-14 from beyond the arc for 28.6 percent, while Baldwin Wallace was 21-of-53 from the floor for 39.6 percent and finished 5-of-21 on 3-pointers for 23.8 percent.
- The Polar Bears made 12-of-17 free throws for 70.6 percent and the Yellow Jackets were 8-of-12 from the line for 66.7 percent.
