Sumner scores a career-high 16 points, but Women's Basketball falls 74-59 at Ohio Wesleyan

DELAWARE — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team fell 74-59 at Ohio Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon despite a career-high 16 points from junior Courtney Sumner (Ada).

- The Bishops outscored the Polar Bears 20-9 in the third quarter to take a 55-35 lead at the end of three quarters.
- Ohio Northern made 22-of-49 field goals for 44.9 percent and was 6-of-17 from beyond the arc for 35.3 percent, while Ohio Wesleyan was 30-of-63 from the floor for 47.6 percent and finished 3-of-13 on 3-pointers for 23.1 percent.
- The Polar Bears made 9-of-12 free throws for 75.0 percent and the Bishops were 11-of-17 from the line for 64.7 percent.
