Women's Basketball receives votes in WBCA Top 25 Poll for Jan. 2

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team received votes in this week's WBCA Division III Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears received six points in the poll and are sixth in the "others receiving votes" section after receiving seven points in the previous poll.
Elsewhere in the Ohio Athletic Conference, Baldwin Wallace and Marietta are also in the "others receiving votes" section with 8 and 5 points, respectively.
New York University Transylvania (Ky.) and Scranton (Pa.) are the top three teams in this week's poll.
The Polar Bears (6-4 overall, 4-0 OAC) have won five of their past six games coming off a 72-65 win over then-No. 10 Trinity (Tex.) and a 57-50 loss to La Verne (Calif.) in the D3hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
Northern returns to action tonight at OAC foe Otterbein at 7 p.m.
