Women's Basketball receives votes in WBCA Top 25 Poll for Dec. 19

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team received votes in this week's WBCA Division III Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears received seven points in the poll and are fifth in the "others receiving votes" section after receiving three points in last week's poll.
Elsewhere in the Ohio Athletic Conference, Marietta and Baldwin Wallace are also in the "others receiving votes" section with 18 and 8 points, respectively.
NYU, Transylvania (Ky.) and Christopher Newport (Va.) are the top three teams in this week's poll.
The Polar Bears (5-3 overall, 4-0 OAC) are riding a four-game win streak coming off Saturday's 48-41 victory over then-No. 22 Marietta and return to action on Dec. 28-29 for games against No. 10 Trinity (Tex.) and La Verne (Calif.) as part of the 2023 D3hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
