Women's Basketball receives votes in WBCA Top 25 Poll for Dec. 12

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team received votes in this week's WBCA Division III Top 25 Poll.
The Polar Bears received three points in the poll and are sixth in the "others receiving votes" section after receiving four points in last week's poll.
NYU, Transylvania (Ky.) and Christopher Newport (Va.) are the top three teams in this week's poll.
Elsewhere in the Ohio Athletic Conference, Marietta is ranked No. 22, and Baldwin Wallace is third in the "others receiving votes" section with 11 points.
The Polar Bears (4-3 overall, 3-0 OAC) are riding a three-game win streak coming off Saturday's 69-50 win at Mount Union and return to action on Saturday hosting Marietta at 2 p.m. The team will then travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for games against No. 10 Trinity (Tex.) on Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. and La Verne (Calif.) on Dec. 29 at 5 p.m. as part of the 2023 D3hoops.com Classic.
