Women's Basketball team picked to finish third in 2011-12 OAC Coaches' Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team was picked to finish sixth in the 2011-12 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches' Preseason poll.
The Polar Bears received 63 points in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
Defending league champion Mount Union was picked to finish first, Baldwin-Wallace was picked second while Capital and Otterbein picked to tie for fourth.
The Polar Bears, under 11th-year head coach Michele Durand will open its 2011-12 season Nov. 15 at home against Albion (Mich.) at 7:30 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
