Men's Cross Country finished fourth of 10 at All-Ohio Classic

CEDARVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished fourth of 10 teams at the All-Ohio Classic Saturday evening.
The Basics
- Record: Ohio Northern (19-5 Overall).
- Race Info: The event was an 8,000-meter race held at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
- ONU placed 4th out of 10 Division III teams with 93 points.
Race Results
- The field consisted of 20 collegiate varsity teams primarily from Ohio.
- Otterbein won the team title with 39 points, John Carroll was second of 48 points, Kenyon was third with 73 points and Case Western Reserve was fifth with 158 points.

- Senior Jacob Clouse (Alvada) led the Polar Bears across the finish line in 25.46, finishing 10th of 166 Division III runners.
- Junior Oliver Hendricks (Vandalia/Butler) finished 17th in 25.56.
- Junior Ryan Montross (Perrysburg/Perrysburg) was 20th in 26.20.
- Sophomore Chris Bond (Franklin/Franklin) was 25th in 26.40.
- Sophomore Dudley Bravard (Beavercreek/Beavercreek) was 26th in 26.41.
Notables
- Oliver Hendricks beats his previous best of 27.00.
- Ryan Montross beats his previous best of 26.22.
- Chris Bond also beats his previous best of 26.23.
- Dudley Bravard has a huge personal best of 26.41 shaving off ninety-five seconds off his previous time.
- Ohio Northern was 4th of the 6th participating OAC schools.
- Among all the schools, which consisted of NCAA Division I, II and III and NAIA schools, ONu was 11th of 20 with 276 points.
- Northern defeated NCAA Division I foe Akron and Division II foe Central State.
- 17th-year head coach Jason Maus is now 1,624-428 as head coach of the ONU men's cross country program and is the winningest coach in program history.
